Dr. Yuanhang (Chris) Zhang, DDS

Background

Dr. Zhang is passionate about patient care and finds great fulfillment in helping patients achieve relief from pain and improve their dental health. He is especially dedicated to helping anxious patients overcome their fears and achieve better dental health. He takes time to listen to each patient's concerns, building trust through open communication and empathy, and uses clear explanations to demystify procedures and reduce anxiety.

After earning top honors at Boston University, Dr. Zhang received his dental degree from UCLA. He then completed a General Practice Residency at Stanford Hospital and the VA Palo Alto Healthcare System — one of the most competitive programs in the region — where he received advanced training in oral surgery, including dental implants, dental emergencies, and trauma management.

Personal

Outside the office, Dr. Zhang is an avid NBA fan who enjoys tennis, scuba diving, snowboarding, and hiking with his Australian Shepherd. He and his wife share a lively home with two cats, a dog, and a cockatiel, and together they love exploring new restaurants and escape rooms.
